Marija Gavrilov

Marija Gavrilov is an IT blogger, currently working with Startit.rs, where she covers IT education, entrepreneurship, and new technologies. Before joining Startit, Marija studied and taught entrepreneurship and human-centered design in cooperation with Dartmouth College alumni and professors in Hanover, NH, USA. During her engagement with the College, Marija worked on a number of projects, including the creation of a mobile health platform for rural health workers in Peru. Inspired by the people she worked with in the States, she started a bilingual blog on entrepreneurs – braver.in.rs. In early 2015 Marija graduated with BA in Sociology at University of Novi Sad, Serbia and American University in Washington, DC. Marija is a US State Department alumna and the recipient of CESA award for the most influential woman in Serbian startup community.
