Thomas Lohninger

Thomas Lohninger is the Executive Director of the digital rights NGO akvorrat.at and lives in Vienna, Austria. He used to work as Policy Advisor for European Digital Rights on the EU law on net neutrality and was invited two times as expert on net neutrality in the German Bundestag. Thomas is a driving force behind the EU-wide campaign www.savetheinternet.eu and his work is focused not only on net neutrality, but also on privacy and mass surveillance. He’s a writer writes for netzpolitik.org, is regular guest in the German digital rights podcast “Logbuch:Netzpolitik” and shows a lot of commitment in other civil society contexts.
