Vanja Juric is an attorney at law from Zagreb, Croatia. She graduated in 2007 from the Faculty of Law at the University of Zagreb and continued her education in 2011 when she enrolled in the European Studies Masters Programme at the Faculty of Political Science. Vanja started her professional career serving as a Legal Assistant at International Criminal Tribunal for ex Yugoslavia. In 2010, Vanja started her own law practice, focusing on media law and freedom of expression issues. In her career, she has been successfully representing influential Croatian corporations, publishers and journalists in a substantial number of civil and criminal proceedings. A very important part of Vanja’s career has also been her cooperation and representation of non-profit organizations dealing with media freedoms. In 2015 Vanja participated in founding of the Center for protection of freedom of expression, operating within the Croatian Journalist Association.
